Don’t mistake Strength & Conditioning for bodybuilding. We are not training you to bulk up; We are training you to be stronger and fitter!
This course really can be done by anyone and is designed in such a way that it is suitable for all levels of fitness, from those customers with just a basic level of fitness to those who have been physically active for many years.
The sessions will help you to increase your strength, mobility and balance. The group size is restricted to a maximum of only 8 people so we can work closely with you on technique, form and the execution of the exercises. It also allows us to create a great team atmosphere which helps to inspire and motivate on the days when you need that extra little push!
The strength element of the workouts primarily focus on compound exercises (whole body) such as squats, deadlifts, presses and pulls. The conditioning work will see you focus on your overall fitness levels (heart & lungs) alongside your strength. This is where we can really vary sessions to include a mix of structured training programmes using high-intensity work, body weight exercises and functional gym equipment.
If you’re also planning on a busy sporting year, then we can help you to work on your weaknesses and reduce the likelihood of you picking up injuries. Providing it is done correctly and with the right intensity then the inclusion of strength work in to your training programme will have a significant improvement on your performance and recovery.
