When you have booked your online class via the Glofox app or via our own website you will receive an email booking confirmation (please keep this safe). The email will contain a link specific to you and the class you have reserved, this is the link you need to access the class on your PC, Laptop, Tablet or Smart Phone.
When the class is due to start (or up to 10 minutes before) access your email and click on the link, the steps below will then take you through what to do next.
NB. if you click on this before the scheduled start time you will receive a message to say the class is not yet available and will start at the assigned time.
When you have clicked on the link you web browser will open a new page and will display the flowing image:
When this appears you simply need to click “Allow“. This will then open the following message:
Here it is recommended that you “Join with your Computer Audio“.
Then when you enter the class you will have the options in the tool bar at the bottom of this image:
This is where you can “Mute / Unmute” your microphone, “Start or Stop Your Video“. Please note there are a few other options here on my tool bar as “host” that won’t appear on your screen. You can though use the “Chat” icon to post any comments / questions during the class should you wish to.
Whilst it is not shown, there is also at the top right of your screen the option to change the view from “Host” i.e. the instructor to “Gallery” i.e. everyone in the class
Please note that your instructor will control everyone’s microphone during the session, for the majority of the time your microphones will be turned off by us.
The link will only work on your tablet or smart device if you have already download the Zoom app, this is free and is available via the apple and android store. You DO NOT need to create an account when you download the app, but you do need to have the app on your device.
When you click on the link in your email the app will open up and you will see the following:
Please Click “Join with Video“, then the following screen will appear:
Select “Call using Internet Audio“, this will then take you in to the class. Here you’ll be able to see the tool bar below (note if this toolbar disappears just touch your screen again and it will reappear!);
This is where you can “Mute / Unmute” your microphone, “Start or Stop Your Video“. Please note that your instructor will control everyone’s microphone during the session, for the majority of the time your microphones will be turned off by us.
Whilst it is not shown, there is also at the top right of your screen the option to change the view from “Host” i.e. the instructor to “Gallery” i.e. everyone in the class. Depending on the numbers in the class and the type of device you are using you may need to swipe across your screen to see other participants.
Please note that it is essential that you have your video switched on so we can monitor you during the class.
